Among the most fruitful results of a philosophy of the mind open to the contribution of the biological sciences there is also the bringing back of the human being and his awareness of being there to the wide world of animal sensitivity. Ancient dualisms and new reductionisms are thus overcome in a perspective that can be defined as zooanthropology/etoanthropology, capable of reading every species, every function and every conscience of the world as an expression of an anthropodecentric richness that safeguards the identity of life and the difference of his expressions.
