After a brief survey on the chemical and structural nature of prostaglandins (PG), the authors analyze their role in the phlogosis mechanisms. Subsequently, a case investigation is described which concerns 10 patients affected by brucellosis and in which the PG behaviour has been traced in connection with the course of the morbid form, by suggesting that the prostaglandins may be determinant in the establishment and the maintenance of the phologistic state.

Abstract
After a brief survey on the chemical and structural nature of prostaglandins (PG), the authors analyze their role in the phlogosis mechanisms. Subsequently, a case investigation is described which concerns 10 patients affected by brucellosis and in which the PG behaviour has been traced in connection with the course of the morbid form, by suggesting that the prostaglandins may be determinant in the establishment and the maintenance of the phologistic state.File in questo prodotto:
