The aim of this essay is to investigate the early works by Franco Pierandrei an eminent but neglected voice of the multifaceted Fascist legal science. The Italian constitutionalist thinker undoubtedly was an expert of the National-Socialist legal doctrine. This is evident reading his works where he had analysed some categories and concepts of German public law under the Nazi regime. Shedding new light on this works could be useful to underline similarities and differences between Fascist and National Socialist legal cultures, and, more specifically, on the diverse meaning of the concept of rule of law and the related implications in the field of legal theory.

Abstract
The aim of this essay is to investigate the early works by Franco Pierandrei an eminent but neglected voice of the multifaceted Fascist legal science. The Italian constitutionalist thinker undoubtedly was an expert of the National-Socialist legal doctrine. This is evident reading his works where he had analysed some categories and concepts of German public law under the Nazi regime. Shedding new light on this works could be useful to underline similarities and differences between Fascist and National Socialist legal cultures, and, more specifically, on the diverse meaning of the concept of rule of law and the related implications in the field of legal theory.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
