The paper is intended as a preliminary and cursory exploration of the interweavings between the representation of women who love other women and the filmic construction of domestic space. The aim is to highlight the overlap of the ghost of the angel of the hearth and that of the various appearances of lesbian personages in contemporary cinema, highlighting metamorphoses, stereotypical survivals and new images of freedom that are confronted with the problematic nature of the visualisation of unexpected subjects.

l paper si propone come preliminare e sommaria esplorazione degli intrecci fra rappresentazione delle donne che amano altre donne e costruzione filmica dello spazio domestico. L’obiettivo è quello di evidenziare la sovrapposizione del fantasma dell’angelo del focolare e quello delle varie apparizioni di personagge lesbiche nel cinema contemporaneo, mettendo in evidenza metamorfosi, sopravvivenze stereotipiche e nuove immagini di libertà che si confrontano con la problematicità della visibilizzazione di soggetti imprevisti.
