In last years, tv-series have taken on a fundamental role in the process of production, diffusion and reception of stories and memories and in the creation of a powerful collective imagination. In particular, after the cinematographic revolution of the 70s, represented by films such as Blue Soldier, Little Big Man, Jeremiah Johnson, some tv-series have changed the point of view of the narrative about the epic of Conquest of the West, through new perspectives and storytelling methods. Many of them have thus managed to become the vehicle of a new vision of American society, of its history and above all of the role that women, minorities, Afro-Americans and Indians had in the epic of the Frontier.
