The global scenario of the GMOs crops, about 148 million hectares, shows in 2010 about 10 main crops. The trend of recent years underlines a constant increasing during the time everywhere in the world. About 15.4 million small, medium and large farms have obtained “biotech” crops in 29 different countries. We must consider other aspects (scientific, legislative, political, ethical, economical, religious, environmental nature, etc.) that could appear, in this way, too simplistic. In this paper we take into consideration some aspects of economic agrarian studies, especially the impacts of the territory on business and on food, originating from a more and more spread GMO consumption. An in-depth analysis deserves GMO free products and its effect on international markets. The rich legislation on this subject, with particular reference to EU, will be explored.

Abstract
The rich legislation on this subject, with particular reference to EU, will be explored.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
