Local tolerability of oxatomide has been investigated by means of cutaneous tests (patch test and photopatch test). A single dose of oxatomide gel (5%) has been tested on 10 subjects - aged 38.6 ± 17.5 years (mean ± SD, 15-66 min-max) suffering from allergic contact dermatitis, in one case restricted to the labial area. No skin reaction has been observed during patch test execution (at both 48 and 72 hrs from application). While verifying skin reactivity one case (a 34 yrs old female) was positive to photopatch test challenge: mild rash at 48 hrs totally disappeared at the 72 hrs observation time. In addition, though not positive to skin tests, one patient (a 25 yrs old female) referred itching. No adverse events have been reported.

Abstract
No adverse events have been reported.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
