Archivi di architette in Sicilia nel Novecento

This study introduces the project called “Archives of Female Architects in 20th Century’s Sicily” which, through the collabora- tion of archivists and architectural historians, carries on the reorganisation and digitalisation of four female architects’ archives born in the 1930s in Sicily. The project, supported by public institutions, is promoted by the families who kept these profession- als’ archives and aims to highlight the characteristics and specificities of their activity that remained in the shadow in a men-dominated context.
