The authors deal with their last decade of studies on the inhibitory effects of various antiviral molecules against RNA and DNA viruses. Particularly, attention is focused on a group of isothiazole derivates endowed with inhibitory effects on poliovirus, echovirus and adenovirus in vitro replication. Studies performed on early stages of virus replication allowed both to obtain some information on the mechanism of action and to synthesize new derivates with a higher selectivity index.

Abstract
The authors deal with their last decade of studies on the inhibitory effects of various antiviral molecules against RNA and DNA viruses. Particularly, attention is focused on a group of isothiazole derivates endowed with inhibitory effects on poliovirus, echovirus and adenovirus in vitro replication. Studies performed on early stages of virus replication allowed both to obtain some information on the mechanism of action and to synthesize new derivates with a higher selectivity index.File in questo prodotto:
