The pilot project “Uno, nessuno, cento Giga” was launched in 2024 by the Region of Sicily, in partnership with the Regional School Office, tackle the prevention of bullying and cyberbullying among students. The project involved the implementation of a training course specifically designed for Sicilian teachers. The primary objective was to raise awareness within the school community regarding topics such as legality, affective education, and responsible use of technology. This contribution offers a critical analysis of the results, specifically focusing on the effective strategies implemented in schools of the Province of Ragusa. The aim is to challenge the tendency to pathologize this phenomenon, and to move away from fragmented, sector-specific, and reparative approaches. Instead, the focus is on adopting pedagogical perspectives that prioritize the promotion of social-emotional well-being and the prevention of exclusion and conflict dynamics. The project aimed to redefine the meaning of relationships within school communities by proposing inclusive and close-knit models to enhance educational practices and promote a deeper understanding of human relationships.
Il progetto pilota per la prevenzione del bullismo e del cyberbullismo “1nessuno100Giga”, promosso nel 2024 dalla Regione Sicilia, in collaborazione con l’Ufficio Scolastico Regionale, ha previsto la realizzazione di un percorso di formazione rivolto ai docenti siciliani, con l’obiettivo di sensibilizzare la comunità scolastica sui temi dell’educazione all’affettività e dell’uso consapevole delle tecnologie. Il contributo presenta un’analisi critico riflessiva sugli esiti di tale percorso, con particolare riferimento alle buone prassi realizzate negli istituti scolastici della Provincia di Ragusa. L’intento è decostruire “tendenze patologizzanti” al fenomeno e superare i prevalenti approcci frammentati e riparativi, proposti da una certa letteratura specialistica di settore, in favore di prospettive pedagogiche orientate alla promozione del benessere socio-emotivo e alla prevenzione di dinamiche di esclusione e marginalizzazione. Nel tentativo di risemantizzare le Relazioni all’interno delle comunità scolastiche, attraverso una nuova “estetica della cura”, il percorso ha inteso proporre modelli olistici, inclusivi e di prossimità a supporto di prassi e percorsi educativi che mirano a riscoprire la bellezza e la profondità delle relazioni umane.
