Meraviglioso e mondi “altri” nel multiverso dell’ "Orlando furioso"

Given the origin of its founding mythology, the chronotope of the Or- lando furioso consists of “the prodigious world at the time of adventure- queste” in conjunction with the time and space of epic war. e coexistence of these and other chronotopes determines the elastic structure of space and time, which dilates through imaginary and real geography, defining a Cosmos open to the existence of multiple ‘other’ worlds, in which the char- acter is a wayfarer. Aer delimiting the boundaries of Ariosto’s marvellous, and aer illustrating the importance of the founding mythos for the struc- ture of space-time, we will define the multiverse of Orlando Furioso.
