A seat at the table: The future of purchasing and supply management

At the start of the year, we created a small, informal online survey that was sent out to the editorial board members and some trusted members of the JPSM community, asking them to share their perspectives on the future of PSM with our readership. While the megatrends may be apparent (technology, sustainability and climate crisis, growing regulatory requirements, geopolitical tensions), we asked respondents to use their experience to tell us about specific scenarios and developments they foresaw across five key areas of PSM: supply strategy, strategic sourcing, purchasing organization and management, performance measurement and management, procurement digitalization.
