The Operational Working Group for Inclusion (OWG), established by Legislative Decree 66/2017 and regulated by Legislative Decree 96/2019, represents a fundamental device for promoting the school inclusion of pupils with disabilities. Its operation is based on the principle of educational co-responsibility, which actively involves the inter-institutional network composed of school, families and territory. This contribution illustrates the results of an exploratory research conducted in an area of eastern Sicily, aimed at surveying the external professional figures proposed by families and assessing their contribution in the OWG's decision-making and planning processes. The data collected make it possible to partially confirm the initial hypotheses, offering points for pedagogical reflection on the quality of interactions between the various actors involved. Among the main evidences emerged the need for a systemic discussion on the role of extracurricular figures and the urgency to promote training courses aimed at strengthening inclusive educational planning, through a structured and co-responsible collaboration between families, teachers and professionals in the area
Il Gruppo di Lavoro Operativo per l’inclusione (GLO), istituito dal D.lgs. 66/2017 e disciplinato dal D.lgs. 96/2019, rappresenta un dispositivo fondamentale per promuovere l’inclusione scolastica degli alunni e delle alunne con disabilità. Il suo funzionamento si fonda sul principio della corresponsabilità educativa, che coinvolge attivamente la rete inter-istituzionale composta da scuola, famiglie e territorio. Il presente contributo illustra i risultati di una ricerca esplorativa condotta in un’area della Sicilia orientale, volta a rilevare le figure professionali esterne proposte dalle famiglie e a valutarne il contributo nei processi decisionali e progettuali del GLO. I dati raccolti consentono di confermare parzialmente le ipotesi iniziali, offrendo spunti di riflessione pedagogica sulla qualità delle interazioni tra i diversi attori coinvolti. Tra le principali evidenze emergono la necessità di un confronto sistemico sul ruolo delle figure extrascolastiche e l’urgenza di promuovere percorsi di formazione volti a rafforzare la progettazione educativa inclusiva, attraverso una collaborazione strutturata e corresponsabile tra famiglie, docenti e professionisti del territorio.
