The GRAAL(Grenoble Anneau Accelerateur Laser) facility provides a polarized andtagged photon beam (from 500 to 1500 MeV) obtained by Compton scattering of laser light on the electron beam of ESRF(European Synchrotron Radiation Facility) in Grenoble. Meson photoproduction on the nucleon allows to investigate the excited states of the nucleon. The p(gamma, K+ Lambda) reaction has been studied and preliminary results on the beam asymmetry Sigma and on the Lambda polarization P are given.

Abstract
The GRAAL(Grenoble Anneau Accelerateur Laser) facility provides a polarized andtagged photon beam (from 500 to 1500 MeV) obtained by Compton scattering of laser light on the electron beam of ESRF(European Synchrotron Radiation Facility) in Grenoble. Meson photoproduction on the nucleon allows to investigate the excited states of the nucleon. The p(gamma, K+ Lambda) reaction has been studied and preliminary results on the beam asymmetry Sigma and on the Lambda polarization P are given.File in questo prodotto:
