Il ruolo del Terzo settore in un welfare moderno e responsabile. Quale impatto generativo sulle capacità professionali?

Civil society and the Third sector are gaining a prominent role within the current welfare state scenario. The latter is facing challenges transforming its traditional features, proper of the Twentieth Century, towards a collective model, where interactions among several actors appear to be central. The article addresses the peculiarities of the third sector work as well as the distinctive novelties brought to the welfare system by the non-profit sector and the world of cooperation. Against the backdrop of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, this article also enlights the impact of the welfare transformation on work relations and professional aspects, as well as on social system, territories and communities.

Le difficoltà dello Stato Sociale così come conosciuto nel Novecento e l’evoluzione del sistema di welfare verso un modello maggiormente partecipato, in cui centrale è l’interazione di una pluralità di attori, ha messo in luce il crescente ruolo di protagonismo che può giocare la società civile organizzata e il Terzo settore. L’articolo, mostrando le peculiarità intrinseche del lavoro in questo particolare settore, prova a indagare le presunte evoluzioni innovative che potrebbero essere generate dal non profit e dal mondo della cooperazione, e il relativo impatto sia sulle relazioni di lavoro e sugli aspetti professionali, sia sul sistema sociale, sui territori e sulle comunità di appartenenza, anche alla luce delle sfide dettate dalla Quarta Rivoluzione industriale.
