An equivalence transformation algebra $L_E$ for a class of nonlinear diffusion equations is found. After having obtained the second-order differential invariants with respect to $L_E$, we get some results which allow us to linearize a subclass of the equations considered.

Abstract

An equivalence transformation algebra $L_E$ for a class of nonlinear diffusion equations is found. After having obtained the second-order differential invariants with respect to $L_E$, we get some results which allow us to linearize a subclass of the equations considered.
