Abstract
The Sicilian Regional law n. 10/2005 instituted the Tourist Districts (TD). A TD is characterized by the active presence of tourist firms, public institutions and a community of people in a geographical bounded area. This work analyses the distribution of tourists inside the TD in order to identify tourist profiles, using the data set of a survey carried out in Sicily. Employing a Two-Step clustering procedure we obtain two clusters that we defined ‘Tourists only’ and ‘Not tourists-only’, according to some specific features.File in questo prodotto:
