Studying the demand is the basis of the tourism statistic-economic analysis, in order to identify different market segments and manage tourist flows. Following the outcomes of a previous study focused on the analysis of some market segments that characterize the tourist demand in Cefalù (Sicily), this paper presents the results of a study aimed to identify and measure the dependence relationship of some tourist demand structural characteristics on the amount of tourist expenditure, using the multinomial logistic regression statistical analysis. Both studies used data gathered from a survey in Cefalù conducted in 2005.
