The paper investigates some of the forms of educational poverty determined by conditions of marginality. The starting point is the analysis conducted by the proposed meridian ecofeminist pedagogy, on the intersections between the peculiar characteristics culturally attributed to the categories of people socialized as women, the natural environment and the South. Prendendo le mosse dall’analisi delle intersezioni tra le caratteristiche attribuite culturalmente alle categorie delle persone socializzate come donne, dell’ambiente naturale e dei Sud, avanzate da una pedagogia ecofemminista meridiana, il contributo indaga alcune delle forme di povertà educativa determinate dalle condizioni di marginalità non soltanto geografica. Attraverso l’adozione di prospettive decoloniali e socio-materialiste, l’articolo si propone di rintracciare connessioni tra materialità e didattica negli ambienti di apprendimento al fine d’individuare le configurazioni assunte dalle sempre più evidenti disuguaglianze educative delle condizioni sociali e materiali dei Sud.
